One of the things that I loved most about Obama's farewell speech was his clarity on individual contributions. LOTS of organizations are going to need help.
And his reference to Atticus Finch has raised a few questions. But what I heard the president ask us all to do is empathize with others. It's the least we can do - and seems to be the hardest thing of all.
